Can I trust the processing times on Canada.ca?

Hey Guys, I checked the processing time for student visas in my country(SENEGAL) and it said 5 weeks.
It's been 3 weeks since I've submitted my visa request(August 9th), and I was wondering if you guys think it's possible I get my visa by Mid-September
I'm just curious, and my file is complete, the financials are good plus my admission letter etc
I've also traveled to the US, the European Union etc so idk if that will help

It took 45 days exactly from the day I gave my biometrics in Dakar on 1st Nov 2018 to request my passports on 14 Dec 2018. I am applying from Mauritania for visitor visa. Did you get any update ?

The processing time on the website is just an estimated average time the VO take to make a decision on a complete application package. Most decisions are made later rather than sooner .
