Can I travel outside Canada for Job related work with Canadian Work Permit?

Hi,
I have PGWP. I am currently working under Canadian employer. I Have a job that require me to go to project locations in different countries.
Can I travel outside Canada for work with Canadian work Permit?
I am planning to apply for PR, Will it cause any problem in that PR process if I travel outside Canada for the Canadian Employer?

Wow. What job did you land that your employer would pay to fly you around like this????? Sounds like you won the jackpot. As your PGWP is open you're fine to work in any location, but any time spent outside of Canada doesn't count towards CEC or for immigration purposes.

I don't have a trv right now. I applied for it. For travel time, It would be around 1-2 weeks maximum outside Canada for few times a year.

That time outside Canada doesn’t count as Canadian experience.
