Can I travel outside Canada after submitting paper PNP application?

Hi guys,

I submitted my paper based application for BC PNP in Nov 2016, and now I am wondering if I can travel outside Canada during my vacation.
If so, should I update CIC every time I cross the border?

Do u have a valid visa?

I traveled for my vacation after I submitter application for PR. no issues
