Can I transfer date of IELTS on the basis of Wife s Hospitalization

Dear All

I registered myself for idp ielts test for October 24, 2015 but was surprised to find that they have decided to take speaking test on October 20,2015. Now I am unable to take speaking test as on the same day there is surgery for my wife.
Can any one tell me whether I can postpone / transfer my IELTS date in these circumstances.

Just a random comment - you and I submitted the EE profile on the same date, and our IELTS results are exactly the same except for W. Our scores are pretty similar too. Let's hope we can both get an ITA soon.
