I want to apply for Express entry in month of December,2018 but i have to submit an application for my work permit extension in May,2019. My doubt is Can i submit 2 application on same passport one for express entry and another for Open work permit extension/renewal.

yes, you can. depending on where you are, if you are in Canada, your WP will be mailed to you without requesting for your passport. Plus, your EE probably will have a result by then
Thanks. But after coming to canada i have reissued my passport from BLS. So now i have to get VISA stamped on my new passport when i'll apply for Open work permit. Same time i have plan to apply for Express Entry.
