Hello, my husbands visitor visa runs out at the end of nov but we are still waiting to hear back about our PR application which we submitted in sept 2013. Will be on implied status after his VR runs out? or will we need to reapply and get gutted for another 150 bucks? btw - still waiting to hear back about his work visa application we put in back in dec of 2013 - what do we do? thank you!!

Submitting a skilled worker PR application doesn't give you implied status. If he wants to remain in Canada legally he should apply for an extension to his visit.

He can have implied status only if you have submitted the extension of stay application. I am in the same position, waiting for my PR in Canada, and just starting to gather documents for extension of visitor visa.Hottalie said:
