Can I start my Alberta H1B PNP application after just 5 months in the US?

I’ve been living and working in the US with an H1B visa since October, 2009 (5 months now).

Should I be able to start my Alberta H1B PNP application right now, or do I have to wait until my H1B period completes one year?

I know the documentation says "one year", but by the time my Alberta PNP application completes I'll probably have 1,5 years in the US—I just want to have it started sooner than that.

Thanks in advance!

kapilarya, I know about that, and that's what I mentioned in my post.

However, I heard about a few cases in which people applied before completing 1 year under the H1B—and it actually end up working for them.

Anyone has a similar story to share?

When you apply, and your application reaches AINP and they start processing .. say in the next 4 - 5 months.

They find your documents saying, when you started working on H1 and you would still be in a state where you haven't completed your 1 year and they would not know your status if are still working ..

Chances are that .. like some other members .. you would receive an email saying .. "You need to wait for a year" .. But, you can always give a try !!

What is the NOC code you are planning to apply .. by the way ?

I just want to ask if you can relocate to the US once you have become a permanent resident or citizen of Canada?

Or is there a certain period requiring you to stay in the Province which granted you a resident card.

why don't apply for an american visa or green card so you can stay in the US? there are a few options you can try.
