Can I sponsor stepfather with my mother?

Heya!

I want to apply to sponsor my mother and stepfather to come live here with me under the grandparent visa (im a permanent resident) ....but as he is not my biological father would that be an issue? I've searched the CIC website and I cant seem to find anything that talks about it.... Just wondering if anyone here has tried to do the same thing?

You would sponsor your mother and include your step-father as a dependent in her application.
