Can I sponsor my wife ?

I signed Non-resident status as living out side of Canada, But now I'm trying to sponsor my wife for her to get PR. I read somewhere that I need to change status (for tax reason ?)
If that is that case, where to do and how to do ? being out side of Canada ? at this moment.

No you don't need to change your tax status. Your residence status for tax purposes has no bearing on your ability to sponsor your spouse for PR.
