Can I sponsor my father for visitior visa ?

Dear All

I got Canada student visa from New Delhi in DEc 2011 and now it have been 6 months that I m studying in canada. I want to know that can I call my father to visit me in Canada ?

Hey Neelam,you can definitely send an invitation to your father however you can not sponsor him as you are not on PR or u r not a citizen.This means you will have to show funds in your bank account and he has to show liquid funds in his bank account and property and other things..in short his visa application will be dealt as a normal visitor visa application
