Hi Guys,

I have around 4 lakhs INR in my Indian NRE account and around 4000 CADs in my Canadian account. Can I show both the statements for satisfying the Proof of Fund for Express entry FSW category?

Also, can anyone please send me a sample format of the POF statement that I can request my bank? My email id is - 89robinm @ gmail.com.

Thanks,

Hi Man,

I'm in the same boat as you were :)
Can i use my Indian back statement and Canadian Bank Statement as POF ?
Also, can you help me with below Questions PLEASE as you have similar case like me please!

1 - For Proof of funds can I be in a joint account with my father back home ? (India) (I'm Inland applicant though) Also Do I need to provide explanation letter that I used my dad's money and he has no objection with that ?
2 - For 6 months balance history for accounts, should I provide monthly transaction reports for 6 months or just get a letter from bank that I have this much amount of money in my bank converted in canadian $ ?
3 - For TD Canada trust in here, should I provide 6 months reports or just ask TD to give me balance of 6 months I have right now at that moment ?
4 - Do someone know any doctor in Toronto area who does e-medical and anyone has good experience with them ? please advise on the doctor and clinic.
5 - What is UMI when we have to go to clinic ? Should we worry about it and what is that ? Will doctor ask for any kind of EE profile number or something when I go there ?
6 - For Work experience in India- Should I just provide letter from employer there that I worked there or do I need to provide any kind of pay slips etc ?
7 - For work experience in canada - Should I just provide letter fro employer that I worked here or do I provide also the T4/NOA/Tax receipt from company and upload it ?

Please Let me know the answers and greatly appreciated!

Thanks again

If the amount in both the banks is unencumbered then Yes, why not as long as you produce the 6 months average bank balance statement (valid) for both the accounts.

The Bank letter requirement is stated on the CIC website here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/intake-complete.asp

Proof of funds
Purpose

To confirm whether the applicant meets the low income cutoff (LICO), as assessed by the amount of money they hold compared to the number of people in their family

Document requirements

The applicant should provide official letter(s) from financial institution(s) that list all current bank and investment accounts as well as outstanding debts such as credit card debts and loans.

The letter(s) must be printed on the letterhead of the financial institution and must include the applicant’s name, the contact information of the financial institution (address, telephone number and email address), the account numbers, the date each account was opened and the current balance of each account as well as the average balance in the past six months.
Other documents may also be requested, as necessary.

Individuals who must submit this documentation

The principal applicant

Hope this helps!

1 - For Proof of funds can I be in a joint account with my father back home ? (India) (I'm Inland applicant though) Also Do I need to provide explanation letter that I used my dad's money and he has no objection with that ? You would need the gift deed from your father (assuming he is non accompanying) along with the LoE.
2 - For 6 months balance history for accounts, should I provide monthly transaction reports for 6 months or just get a letter from bank that I have this much amount of money in my bank converted in canadian $ ? A Bank letter would do, if you go for statement that needs to be original and stamped & signed by the bank along with other necessary details related to the bank & your account.
3 - For TD Canada trust in here, should I provide 6 months reports or just ask TD to give me balance of 6 months I have right now at that moment ? same as above
4 - Do someone know any doctor in Toronto area who does e-medical and anyone has good experience with them ? please advise on the doctor and clinic. Please look for the list of panel doctors in Toronto on the CIC webpage.
5 - What is UMI when we have to go to clinic ? Should we worry about it and what is that ? Will doctor ask for any kind of EE profile number or something when I go there ? No. UMI is Upfront Medical...For Medical you need a copy of your passport and one pasport sized photo as per Canadian photo requirements (these details are on their website)
6 - For Work experience in India- Should I just provide letter from employer there that I worked there or do I need to provide any kind of pay slips etc ? Work experience reference letters as per CIC requirements. Pay slips aren't mandatory if its written that it is full time permanent and paid.
7 - For work experience in canada - Should I just provide letter fro employer that I worked here or do I provide also the T4/NOA/Tax receipt from company and upload it ? Yes (as per CIC requirement)

Please Let me know the answers and greatly appreciated!
