can i show my father bank account instead of my ?

Hi,
My husband is international student in canada,montreal and studying in concordia university. We recently got married and i am planning to come on Spouse Open Work Permit. But the problem is that i don't have bank account and i have to show funds when ill apply for visa, my question is that can i show my father bank account instead of my and my father write a letter to embassy to make sure that he will take responsibility for accommodation and other expenses. Is that possible ?

Yes you can show your father banks statement but attach a declaration by your father in which he states I will sponsor you and bear all the educational and living expenses.
