I will be entering Canada for the first time. I received a scholarship from my university. When I applied for the visa, I showed the bank statement of my uncle as proof for the rest of expenses that will not be covered by my scholarship. I did not show my father's bank statement that time because there were not enough funds for a longer period of time in his bank statement.
But now while traveling to Canada, can I show my Father's bank statement as proof of other finances outside scholarship, instead of my uncle's bank statement?
Or Should I carry Bank Statements of both my father and uncle? Which one do I show them first along with my scholarship?
(Never mind, but i myself feel stupid while asking these types of questions)

And should the amount in bank statement be equal to approximately 1 year of expenses?

CBSA generally do not require proof of funds at border for Study Permits. However, you can carry your father's bank statements. 4 to 6 months of bank statement is usually fine. It doesn't matter if you had showed your uncle's bank statement when applied for student visa.

Also keep in mind that it's upto CBSA officer to make sure you are entering with a right visa category. Even with a valid visa, they may refuse entry. So, don't carry any employment reference letters or CVs if you are not authorized to work. Remember, CBSA officers are also authorized to go through your cellphones messages if they suspect you may be posing as a student and are entering Canada for work purposes only.

Usually they don't ask at your POE for proof of financial support. You can certainly bring along your father's bank certificate, but don't offer information if they don't ask for it :D.
What you can do is bring your LOI, your letter of acceptance from the school and your tuition payment receipts, and you'll be fine.
