Can I send passport after 30 days of approval notification.

I applied for multiple entry visitor visa on May 30, 2013 and I got a message to submit my passport on June 18, 2013. However, I missed this message and I have not yet submitted my passport. I would like to know if I can still go ahead and submit my passport to the Consulate in New York.

krisneosam, you are a human and can easily miss an email. Do not waste anymore time and mail in your passport right away. Include a letter explaining why you are sending your application late even if it is one sentence saying the email from CIC went to your junk mail and you hadn't seen it until recently. Also include a print-out of the email you received which requested your passport.

Hi, i applied online and got approval as well. Problem here is, i sent my passport to LA and rules have changed now. we are supposed to send a cheque of $35 to one location and passport to San Diego. my friend who mailed his passport along with me got his passport back without stamping and the above explanation given in it. i didn't receive mine and 30 days duration which they mentioned in approval email will be completed by 18th of april. is there anyone who got their stamping done after sending your passport after 30 days of intimation as well.

Any light thrown at this is be appreciated.
