Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding changing my spouse address only. Our situation is I already submitted and received AOR Oct.2019. We are currently living in US and I am the H1B holder and also the principle applicant for Express Entry. My husband is currently on H-4 visa and he is moving to Canada next week because he got a job offer and the Canada work permit is just approved last week.

For us, can I submit a request to IRCC to change my husband residential address only? Could I do that through Web Form?

Also I probably will move in 2-3 months. And then we will not be able to return to US to give bio-metrics without applying a new US visa. Will they waive the biometrics for us once we move into Canada on work permit? Anyone have experienced a similar situation?

They will not waive the biometrics. You will have to give those outside of Canada.
Thank you for you reply. But because they waive the fingerprint for the inland applicants now. If we move to Canada soon, our address will be Canada address and we will be Canada residents. Won't they waive the biometrics?

You're not an inland applicant. You can't change an outland application to an inland one just by moving to Canada.
