Can I pursue online courses to improve my CRS score?

I have been registered under the Federal Express Entry system and a thought came in to my mind that, is it possible to pursue an online course from any of Canadian institution?
Will online program eligible to increase the CRS score?

You may get points for increased education but distance learning does not give bonus points for Canadian education.
