I just completed my graduation in BMS - Bachelor of Management studies, and now I wish to study in Canada. I wish to pursue a course in Hospitality Management but a lot of counsellors advised that I won't be able to get visa since my past education is not related to that field. Although I have done 2 internships in the past in that field.
So what a few counsellors advised me, is to go for a 1 year PGDM course in a field that is related to my education.. I have thought about doing HR, I am also interested in that. And then after that I can do Hospitality Management, is what they suggest.
How true is it? Will I be able to do Hospitality Management after the 1 year course or will I have trouble getting my visa extended? I would really appreciate if someone would answer my query.
Also, Fanshawe or Niagara which college would be better for a HR course?
And are there any Hospitality and Tourism Management Masters course at university?
