Can I move my pending case to new rules?

As of this September 1, I am six years PR and I have enough days under the new rules but not under the old ones. I did file for citizenship in 2013, passed my test in 2014 May and haven't heard of the CIC since. My MP's office nudged them on the anniversary of my test and in the five months since that nudge we haven't heard from the CIC either.

So, can I just send the presence data to CIC for the years they don't have and ask them to move me to save everyone time and money? I can revoke and reapply but then I need to retest which is a suck. I can keep the current one struggling along which will take them more time possibly involve a judge, meh.

And yes I intend to live here, very much so, I have an apartment with striking views here, I like it here -- but I also happen to travel 2-3 months every year (my yearly average is 110 days -- see how that's between the 90 days of old and 120 days of new). Surely the two are not incompatible...? There's a combination of liking to travel and work requiring it.

You would need to withdraw your application and reapply if you want your application to be considered under the new rules.
