Hi,
can someone please help answering few questions
me and my husband have been going through difficult times figuring these things out:
We originally are from Pakistan, I live in Saudi Arabia and my husband is PR in Canada. He is about to apply for my spouse visa but before that i need to know,
- can i leave Saudi Arabia in middle of my process and live in pakistan instead? would i need any government papers from here apart from criminal record?
- can my husband come live with me in pakistan during the process? say 1 to 3 months?
- how recent the criminal record has to be? should it be submitted in middle of the process or can be submitted beforehand? can i have it out now and submit with my application?
- Saudi Arabia has rule that my ID card name follows my fathers name instead of family name which is different than the passport name. If the criminal record is issued with my ID name (different than my passport name) will that affect my application?

1) Yes - you can leave Saudi Arabia and move to Pakistan. You must notify the visa office processing your application that you've moved.
2) Your husband can visit you - but not for 1-3 months. As a PR, he must be living in Canada while your application is being processed. He can visit for 1-3 weeks without jeopardizing your application.
