Can I make my first visit after 1 year from visitor visa date of issue?

Hi.
I have received multiple entry visitor visa, which is valid for 5 years. I initially wanted to come to Canada after two months but my trip is now postponed to the next year. Can I make my first visit after 1 year from visa date of issue? Is there any rule that obligates you to enter into Canada within the let's say 3rd or 6th months of visa issue date to keep your visa valid?

There’s no such rule, and I don’t know where people hear this from. If there was such a rule, IRCC would tell you together with your visa.

You can plan your visit any time your visa is valid.

Yes you can go anytime between valid your TRV
