Can I leave Canada without my PR card?

I have PR!!! ;D

Now i need to land and get myself sorted out, but I will need to come back to the UK to sell my house etc.
So here is my question....

Can i land, and then leave without my PR card (they take up to 84 days to issue)?

Can family post my PR card t me once I have left?

Can i get into canada without PR card? (i think perhaps you can drive in but not fly in?)

Yes you can go outside Canada without your PR Card. But on your return to Canada you need to have your PR Card for Entry [Entry to Canada through Land/Sea/Air]

Yes your family can collect your PR Card.

But sending the PR Card through Post is of high risk.

It's better that you ask your relative or friend to bring your PR Card with them to you. It's the safest way of collecting your PR Card outside Canada.

You can apply for travel document to UK Canadian Visa office, if you want to land without PR card. It might take 1month to process travel document.check CIC websir on forms to apply for travel document.

apply for a US visa. While coming back come through US using a private car.
no need of PR card.
there is fast processing options for PR card.
or as ststed above apply for travel document

rental car is a private vehicle but taxi is not.
you can go upto the port of entry by taxi and go by walk the remaining distance

If Canadian embassy asks why we left Canada before getting out PR card? How do we reply?
I thought we can do this after getting the newly arrived PR card by post, and by accident it is stolen abroad.

Hi mwrooney, will we be asked by a Canadian immigration officer at the airport while leaving Canada?
If he asks us to show where our pr card is but we havent yet received it, what can we say?
