I'm in my first year of studying in Canada and after studying, I'll apply for the post-graduation work permit. However, I want to travel through Australia directly after studying for a few months. It's my dream since years, so I'm not going to let CA immigration destroy that.
So two questions:
1. Can I travel in Australia for about 3-5months (which will then probably be while and after they process the application) without losing the work permit?
2. When they accept my post-graduation work permit (while I'm in Australia), do I have to return to Canada immediately after they accept it? Or can I still travel around on Australia for a month or so after they accepted the application without losing the post-graduation work permit?
I just can't find an answer to this on the Internet and I would be so glad if someone could answer me!
Thank you
