Can I keep working?

Hi, I'm an international student and I would like to apply for the work permit after graduation.
I heard it takes 5-6 weeks to get it, and unfortunately my work permit and study permit will expire in the meantime..
I know I can extend my study permit, but my interest is to keep working, will my work permit be extended with my study permit while I wait for the after grad. permit?

yes.Very much possible and please make sure you have strong reasons.As you plan to do be applying for jobs and try as much as you can to get a job offer and use the papers as well to state your point.
