Hi,

I want to invite my parents & grandmother (72) to visit me in Toronto for around 4 weeks. My grandmother has been a house wife and does not have an active income stream in her country but I will be paying for her entire trip including tickets and insurance. My dad runs a business & can provide proof of funds and bank statements for the past 6 months. For ties back home, my brother stays there and we have a house and family businesses. Ideally I'd like to invite my parents and grandmother together as that will be the most comfortable option for my grandmother. So.
1) Can I use my funds to invite my grandmother as she does not have enough funds of her own ?
2)As these will be 2 applications (parents and grandmother), can they be submitted at the same time ??
3) I have not received my Pr card but have an eCOPR. Is this fine or do I need to wait for my card before processing the application ??

1) Cannot. Tell your dad to apply for himself, your mom and grandmother together and his funds will be considered as the proof of funds.

Thanks. I'll follow the video. One last question, my grandmother is my step grandmother. My biological grandmother is deceased but my fathers passport has her name in it.
1) How do I establish relation with my grandmother ?
2) Does my father need to mention my biological or step grandmother as parent or both ? What proof/document will he have to show to establish relation with my step grandmother ?

Similarly, does your passport has your father's name in it?

That may be an issue. For stepparents they typically have to visit as the dependent of the biological parent. The one exception if there was a formal adoption. Assume your grandfather may be deceased. She should apply on her own.
