Dear All,

I want to immigrate to Canada as a federal skilled worker.I have never been to Canada before.I have a Bachelor's degree and i am a manager but my occupation is not eligible occupation.There are only 50 eligible occupations and I have not a valid job offer.In this case i can't immigrate to Canada,am i right?

If you're just starting now, it's too late to submit an application under the FSW 2014 program. You will have to read up on the new Express Entry program that starts in January to see if you qualify to apply:

To migrate on the current FSW program, you would have had to start the document gathering process long ago. If you are correct in saying your occupation is not one of the 50 eligible occupations, you would therefore not be eligible. However, come January 1, 2015 there will be no eligible occupations list and all skilled type 0, A and B profession/ occupation would be eligible under the Express Entry System. you therefore stand a chance of migrating under the Express Entry System. Go on the CIC website to read more on it. BTW you may begin the preparation process for this system by obtaining the relevant documents such as Education Credential Assessment, Criminal Record, IELTS etc
