Can I have multiple entries with a valid study permit before the school starts?

Hi everyone,
I obtain a Canadian visitor visa now. It is valid till the mid of September this year.
I will go to school in January next year so I am applying a study permit right now.
My questions are:
1. Can I stay in Canada with the study permit after my present visitor visa expires?
2. Can I go back to my country and come back ( during November and December) with the study permit before the school starts??

1. You could stay as long as your Study Permit is approved before your visitor visa expires.
2. Yes you can, you just have to bring your study permit along with you.
