Can I go for a vacation to the Philippines after I got my visa?

Hi I'm here in hongkong, waiting for my working visa to Canada estimated date of the result on November. November is my last month for my contract here in my employer.

My question is, can I go for a vacation to Philippines even I have no more contract here in hongkong? because my ticket is hongkong-Canada...

Are you taking your vacation while you are still working in Hk or you will be on holiday once the visa is issued to you and go back to HK for your flight to Canada?

Hi,

You could go on a vacation, but first lets lay out what you mentioned:
1. You will have a valid visa (worker) to Canada
2. You will have an expired visa (worker) to HKG
3. You plan on going to HKG enroute to Canada

Be aware, as a departing worker from the PH, you will need to get POEA exit clearance - the OEC/e-Receipt. And getting the OEC will have other requirements - for which you may need to go through POEA, considering you will be going to a new employer.

Immigration officials in the PH will look at your visa, identify it is for a worker, and will look for the OEC/e-Receipt as proof of exit clearance from POEA.

So vis-a-vis, often due to the added number of rules/requirements needed to exit the PH as a worker, some workers prefer to depart directly to Canada instead of vacationing in the PH and falling under the POEA exit rules/regulations.

I don't think that would be possible as you dont have a valid status in HK at the time you will be on your holiday or vacation. Also as mentioned by other here that if you decide to exit in Phils there are other additional requirements and additional fees to be paid not to mention that although you will have a plane ticket already at hand your employer in Canada will be required to get your contract verified by POLO and it would take a while for the verification. Just recently i have read that you will also be required to give a narrative report of how you found your employer, how you maintain communication with your employer and a scanned ID of your employer before you can get an exit clearance. It will be a lot more pain in $&& to exit in Phils.

Hi jing16 Ikaw un ng post dun sa isang topic ng MSG ako sayo kanina dun. Well Kakapasa ko LNG last week sa canadian embassy. Di ako ng agency Sabin nun afficer n ng assest ng papers ko 4 months daw ang processing. Diba April k LNG ng pasa? So bk mga aug. p un sayo. Pwede ko b Makuha un number mo para makibalita ako sayo.
