Hi friends,

My husband is a PR of Canada. He is currently residing in India. He is traveling to Canada in the month of December and will start the PR processing for me and our kid in the month of march 2015.

We have our own small software firm registered on my name which is recently started.

When my PR is getting processed will I and our baby get a visitor visa?

Can we show this firm as a bonding to get back to India as Its registered on my name itself.

Also can we submit medicals and police clearance certificates at the time of filing our application for PR.

Please help.

Awaiting for your response.

Thanks,
Srilatha.

Yes - you should submit police certificates and the medical with your PR application.

Yes - you can certainly try applying for a tRV. Unfortunately there's a good chance it will be refused.

There's no guarantee you will get a visitor visa, no matter if he's married to you or not, owning a business or not. Showing you own this software firm will help your chances, but don't count on it too much, as you've only recently started the business.

There's a good chance you will be refused because you're planning to bring your child with you, so your two strongest family ties (husband and child), will not be in India. Also because you're married to a Canadian PR.
You need to tell us how much money you have, what other family members live in Canada and India, what your job is, etc.

Thanks your reply.

Actually I am pregnant right now and expecting our kid in this september. Since he is too small (and dependent on me)to be left in India wont they consider taking him along with me?

The pregnancy will make it even harder for you to be approved a TRV because they will assume you're planning on staying here to give birth, thus giving your child Canadian citizenship. And no, they won't consider that because then they will assume both of you will not want to leave.

Kid is gonna come in the next month so he will be a citizen of india only.

You have specified that we will have to tell you how much money we have...
Could you please brief on that.

Thanks,
Srilatha

Depends on how long you want to stay, general rule of thumb is $1000/week.
