Hi,
I am currently on a Open work permit and my wife has a spousal open work permit. I am in the EE pool under CEC and awaiting invitation with a CRS score of 458. Our work permits are due expiry in a couple of weeks. In this situation:-

1) I am planning to remove my wife as dependent and mention not accompanying to canada which will raise my points to 463 where in I might get a PR invitation in next round. Keeping this as base I am pretty sure I will get a bridging open work permit(BOWP). Along with my BOWP can I send an application for extension of my wife’s open work permit by the time the current one expires. Will she get an extension? And later can I sponsor her as an inland applicant for PR after I get mine? What reason should I give as I am not including her in first PR application and later sponsoring her after I get my PR?

2) someone said that I can apply for an extension of our work permits which will buy us some time as we can work on implied status. In that interval if we get an invitation we can apply for PR and consequently a BOWP for me and my wife. Does the implied status make us eligible to apply for BOWP?
