Hi there,
I need some advice please. My IEC work permit expires next month but my employer has agreed to do BC PNP nomination for me. I am submitting my application to the PNP asap, just gathering documents this week. But obviously I hope to be able to still work until my application has been processed. The current processing time for BC PNP applications is 2-3 months, then I assume once my nomination is approved I can apply for PR under express entry.
What I need help with is, am I able to apply for a bridging work visa as soon as I apply for the PNP program? So that way I can continue working on implied status until my application is approved. Or do I need to wait for the actual PNP Nomination first?
Im really hoping I can. I looked online but I find the website a bit confusing with too many different options. Please can someone advise me the best route to take?
Thanks in advance!
