Since April 2022, I applied to extend my work permit. This is an open work permit, dependent of my spouse who has study permit. No answer until now, and both my work permit and visa expired last month. My spouse's visa and study permit expired as well. We both applied at the same time in April.
Can I flagpole to request the extension of my work permit? I have to travel to the US for an emergency, but I cannot go with the risk of not being able to reinter Canada.
