I'm planning to study in Canada for 2 years and get a 3-year PGWP, but most full-time programs which meet my academic / career background (I.T.) in that province are 1-year diploma. So I'm planning to apply for a 1-year diploma, get a 1-year study permit and start my study in Canada first. Then apply for another 1-year diploma (same level but different field in I.T.) for the next year intake and try to extend my study permit inside Canada.
1. Is it easy to extend study permit in that way? Or is it as difficult as the initial study permit applying outside Canada?
2. Should I avoid mentioning my plan to study for another year in the study plan for my initial study permit application?
3. Can I get a 3-year PGWP for two 1-year diplomas like this?
Thanks.
