Can I extend my date of arrival after applying online

Hello Friends,

I applied online on 11 June and my PhD starts in the start of September. It seems like things will be slightly delayed, so I was wondering if I could extend the date till the end of September. How do I do that in online cases? My supervisor has agreed to my request.

in my views :
if your means to extend date in visa application.... you cant. (and i dont think you need to extend it, if they took long to make a decision they might ask you then you show your relaxation from your supervisor

You can send a new LOA, else you will be asked to submit a letter of deferral (new LOA) in case you deserve a visa but got delayed.

thank you friend. So the message that I get from your replies is that the embassy will ask me if they ever need to confirm that I still hold the offer, even though the scheduled date for the start of the programme has already passed.
