Can I enter Canada with an expired visa if my application is being processed?

I have both an express entry and bridge open work permit application being processed. I came to Brazil for vacation and my temporary visa (the passport one) is a worker visa and will expire during my vacation here, and also will my open work permit (as I said, the application to extend this one is being processed). I already applied to renew my temporary visitor visa.
My question is: If I get a ETA, will I be able to enter Canada again before my application is processed?

The eTA will allow you to re-enter Canada.

What is your nationality to be eligible for ETA? You need a TRV or ETA to enter Canada, and you can, if approved.

Yes, it's Brazilian. Thank you so much for all the responses. I was worried the immigration agent at the airport could not let me enter because my work TRV is expired.
