Can I enter Canada under IEC visa, leave the country and then return without any problems in the future whilst visa lasts?

Hey

So I have an approved IEC visa along with POE letter.
The regulations have changed so that now you need a job ready at the point of entry to the country.
I'm in on of those fields where it should be modestly easy to find a job through recruiters, but my original plan was to come to the country and find the job on site.

The current job I have is very stable and well paid and I am hesitant about outright quitting it.

1. Is it possible for me to come to Canada, start the timer on the visa, wait in quarantine 2 weeks and then return home without starting the job?

My visa is 2 years so I could just work for another year at my current job, hopefully this pandemic blows over slightly and then I could come to Canada without any issues and look for job in person, one which I'm likely to stick with.

2. Is it possible for me to come to Canada, start the timer on the visa, wait in quarantine 2 weeks don't start the Canadian job and instead continue to work for my current job but remotely from Canada?

Thanks for your input

1. If you don't have a job, you can't come to Canada. If you plan on accepting a job then quitting it once you come to Canada, then I suppose that could work.

2. You'd be essentially misrepresenting yourself, but probably.
