Hello everyone!
I'm going to McGill University in Montreal this coming fall. My application for study permit was approved last week and a Temporary Resident Visa (Category S-1) was issued.
However, I was wondering if it's possible for me to visit Canada with my parents, as a tourist, in June (I am not from a visa-exempt country) before my classes start? We are planning to spend a month in Vancouver and Toronto each and then my parents will finally drop me off at college in Montreal and leave - my residence move-in date is August 23, 2013. Both my parents have valid V-1 visas, so that won't be a problem, but will I be allowed to enter with an S-1 visa?
Damn confused, help me!
