Hi

I am the wife of a closed work permit holder and I had open work permit until June 9th.
My husband has been approved SINP also and we have applied for our extension of work permits on March 22nd (My husband's work permit is due to expire on Sept 19th). We have also applied for PR on April 16th. For some unknown reason CIC refused all our work permits last week which had been a terrible surprise for us. Now I am in my restoration status.
We want to apply for our work permits again but waiting for our PR file number so that we can apply for bridging my husband's work permit.
Now my question is, I was having a open work permit and have a small home business which I have been running from 2014 March. Now it is going on okay, if not great. Since my work permit has been expired now Can I continue it or now. All my marketing is done on Fb and I am very worried about it.
Only recently my business has gained momentum after tons of hard work has been put i it. I cannot stop it.
It is very small business and I am not claiming any expenses too. Can I continue doing it or not?

Thanks

No - you cannot continue working for your home business without a valid open work permit and since your extensions were refused. Right now you are working illegally.
