I'm seeking guidance on the appropriate course of action. My biological brother holds permanent residency in Canada. His name is listed as follows: Given Name - ABC XYZ, Last Name - Blank on his passport and PR card. However, his birth certificate displays his name as Given Name - ABC, Last Name - XYZ. The names of our parents are consistent on the birth certificate. What can be done to clarify to the visa officer that these refer to the same individual and to explain the discrepancy. Could you advise me on the recommended approach for addressing this matter, have anyone gone throught the same situation?
