Good Morning everybody,
I'm currently on a study permit but have graduated last year. I submitted my PGWP online within Canada on Dec 23, 2019 but did not change status to visitor back then. My study permit expires in 2022, but on the date I submitted my PGWP, my study permit may be past the 90-day period following the completion date and may be invalid (there are some ambiguities on which date the officer will use as my completion date, different people gave me different answer, so I'm not sure). I applied within 180 days for sure, but for within-Canada applicants, study permit must be valid at the time of applying.... So I want to be sure that I have a valid status in the country, at least when the officer reviews my application in the next 3 months or less... So, Can I submit an application to extend my stay as a visitor now? is there any problem with doing this?
