Can I carry my dependents' passports to London?

It's a bit early for me to ask this, but here it goes. I am resident in the UK but my dependents are in Pakistan. When I get my PPR, can I bring their passports with me from Pakistan for visa stamping at London VO, so that they don't have to travel all the way to London? I know that it is illegal to send pak passports out of the country. Is it illegal for a family member to carry them out as well?
Is there a definitive answer for this?

As per Pakistani law it is illegal to carry someone else passport with you. Thats how courier companies; DHL, TCS wont take your PP out of Pakistan. Whereas in UAE is legal to send your PP out via courier to UK. See the attached link.

If you are carrying your family passport out of Pakistan it is good advise to take an authority letter stating the purpose. FIA officers might not argue with you at airport.

Thanks. Do you mean authority letter by the passport holder on a plain page with their signatures, or some other form of authority letter?

An affidavit that u can get from any court. People sitting outside court will prepare it for you and notarize it. This will be an authority by the person allowing u to carry his/her passport outside country. Well u need this document only in case FIA finds it otherwise no need

By the way, what is your visa office. If Islamabad, there is a procedure for delivery of passports outside pakistan. Call ISB CHC and inquire.

Thanks for your advice. well, my visa office is London, since I am resident there, but my family is back in Pakistan. It would be really costly to have the four of them buy tickets to come to London for visa stamping!

Any stamp paper / affidavit available, I assume it is Rs. 250 worth needs to be typed and signed by your family.
