I have recently done permanent landing. My wife and kid did soft landing and have returned without their PR cards. I am planning to take PR Cards back to India with me and bring them back to Canada. Will there be any issues while returning?
Will the CBSA officers ask, how did my wife, kid got the PR cards?
Please share any examples or issues you may have faced.

Thanks

No issue with this at all given people even have their friends in Canada courier cards to them in their home country or even as in your case you take them for your family, or others have a friend or relative bring their cards to them. CBSA will have no interest on how they got the cards, all they and the airlines are interested in is that the cards are valid when presented by the holder.

Above assumes of course that the cards are all mailed at roughly same time to the address you all provided on landing , that there are no issues with the application such as photos or for some reason a personal collection is required. Having said these are worst case scenarios just to keep in mind.
