Canadian school fees seems expensive, can I be admitted into Canada to take up a skill trainning such as forklift trainning, or generally equipment operation with the intension of staying back to work? If accepted, can 1yr apprentiship earn me a work permit of any category?
Thanks for your usual helpful advise!!!

I don't think you will find a program that teaches forklift training for a year. Most people are trained in the workplace. In many companies, everybody who wants to drive the forklift is allowed to. You can get a license to drive it. It is a 1 day course. I knew some people who took the course and they said some people came late, did everything wrong and still passed the test and got their license.

If you can not afford to study in Canada, you need to get some work experience or study in your home country and use that to try to get a job and work permit in Canada.
