My sister is having her 2 years old son’s birthday party on 25 nov.2022. Here is the real deal:- My sister and her husband had a fight and her husband assaulted her. She reported to the RCMP and now there is a case going on between them. She has got her landing papers very recently(PR file she filed after getting married and it also includes her husband's details such as her husband's UCI). They have been asked to be in no contact for a year so, this time she wants to invite me( she is my only sister;my parents have valid vistor visa) to her son's birthday.
She has the invitation letter by The Immigrant and Multicultural Services Society and signed by Member of Parliament.

Do i have the chances of getting approval in this situation?
(Note: i have study permit refusal from IRCC)

Your sister’s case has no bearing on your visitor visa. She provides a letter of invitation on why she wants you there. Not sure why MP and service society is providing invitation letter.

You need to show your own funds for a visit, travel history, ties to home country (job letter with leave, businesses, family etc.). You need to mention your refusal.

Where do you live (processing can take months)? How long is the visit?

“She has the invitation letter by The Immigrant and Multicultural Services Society and signed by Member of Parliament.”

This is overkill to submit for a simple visitor visa application. Plus an MP signing a invitation has no bearing what so ever on the approval. It can have an opposite affect where the VO feels the MP
maybe attempting to influence their decision
