Hi every one..

I like this forum just joined and really it is very helful plateform for those who want to apply for PR under CEC.
I also wana to apply under this category but I got confusion.... I have been working in Pizza hut for about 10 months. My job includes pizza making, dough making, washing dishes and cleaning working area, receving and unpacking deliveries etc...

I just wana to ask that Can I apply under CEC as a Cook. My hourly pay is 11/hr and they have given me Permanent Job Offer letter too.

I am moving towards this category because the Provincial Goverenment has made the SINP program in Saskatchwan more lengthy and limited to few seats.

I will be very thankful if some body guides me in this context....Thanks

you have to have a minimum of 1 full year of full time experience (or the part-time equivalent) in a "skilled" occupation. Cook is classified as skilled (NOC 6322, Skill Level B).

http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/noc/english/noc/2011/ProfileKeyword.aspx?val=6&val1=6322&val11=cook&val12=0&val13=0&val14=&val15=0&val16=0

The application is relatively simple compared to other programs, but rests entirely on the letter of reference you obtain from your employer, that must describe your job duties (among other required pieces of information). Based on this, if CIC agrees you have the required skilled work experience, you meet the requirements. You can obtain all the information/documents here -
