hi guys ,

I am a PhD student in Singapore,Chinese citizen, and obtained a scholarship from Chinese government about 2000 Singapore dollar (approximately 1700 CAD) per month.
recently, i was intend to apply the TRV for tourism and visit some friends who studied in Canada. After travel, i would return to Singapore. I also have 6000 CAD as current asset to cover the expense traveled in Canada for 2 weeks. however, i have not any fixed asset. I was wondering if the
fixed asset was necessary for application of TRV. Thank you ~~
PS:
Since obtained a scholarship from Chinese government, I had signed with Chinese government and promises to return to china upon completion of my study in Singapore.

1. 6000 CAD is certainly enough. Submit bank statement showing you have this money.
2. Submit proof showing you signed an agreement with the Chinese government that will return to China upon completion of study.
3. Submit "Letter of Explanation" detailing how a student on scholarship came to have 6000 CAD.

Good luck
