So I'm in the later stages of the PR. I have received my medical exam request, so if everything goes well I should be getting my PR in, say, 3 months period.
In the meantime I have been issued a Bridging Open Work Permit, BOWP, which is meant for people who are applying for PR and have satisfied the minimum criteria as judged by an immigration officer. This permit allows me to be exempt of Labour Market Opinion, LMO, when applying for jobs and I can stay in Canada even without a job.
My question is, does this qualifies me to apply for jobs that are meant for citizens and PRs?
What about a job that explicitly says it is meant to "Persons residing in Canada and Canadian citizens residing abroad"?
Thanks
