Can I apply for post graduation work permit ?

i applied for 8 months after grad post certificate from Durham College which is project engineering and I got accepted, Can I apply for post graduation work permit? However, when I checked my acceptance letter I noticed that the length of the program will start on 4/5/2017 and finishes on 31/12/2017 which is 7 months and 26 days. Can I still apply for the work permit? although, before applying the college mentioned it is a 8 months certificate. please help me, I need to know this before traveling. also keep in mind the same course I registered on January but I missed because the visa was too late. The starting day was on 4/1/2017 and it ends on 31/8/2017 which is more than 8 months.

How do you get 4/12017 to 31/8/2017 to be more than 8 months still only 7 months and 27 days .

Anyway you already had a few answers to this post and ultimately wil depend how convincing a case you can put to the VO. In any case you would only get an 8 month PGWP if successful as that is the length of the course .
