I’m following the instructions of the Document Checklist (imm5457e) for permanent residence application under the Atlantic Pilot Project. I would like to know
1. When it says “Submit copy of your most recent work permit in Canada ” Are they talking about my W-1 Canadian Visa?
2. When it says “Submit proof that you have valid temporary resident status.” How long does it typically take to acquire this once I’m in Canada?
3. I have to apply for permanent residence. Would it be OK to apply for permanent residence from my country and then move to Canada under our temporary work Visa and await the permanent residence response there?
