Hello everyone,
I and my wife received ETAs (closed work permit for me, and an open work permit for my wife).
Although my new job in Canada starts in April, we want to quit our current job this month, and we want to enter to Canada in January so we can have some vacation and get ready for the settlement.
My questions are...
1. Can I enter to Canada using the received work permit ETA in January?
2. Can I apply for OHIP in January as soon as we find an apartment to live? I am aware of 90 days waiting period.
3. Can I travel outside Canada for about 20 days after receiving the work permit at the airport but before my actual job starts?
