I've just got my BOWP and have been in Canada for two years. I never had msp because I had two years worth of travel insurance. I'm now in a company that provides extended health insurance. I have been on implied status so I've just been extending my health insurance with my travel insurance company back in the uk. Do I have to wait for my pr to be approved to apply or can I apply now that I have a work permit for msp and a bc health card?
Can I apply for MSP and a health card with my BOWP?

If you can prove that you have been residing in BC for at least 3 months then you are eligible to apply for MSP card.
